Job summary

NFU Mutual is recruiting an Insurance Adviser to join our Maldwyn Agency network, with offices in Newtown, Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool. You will handle enquiries, provide quotations, and complete insurance transactions with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will work Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with an initial starting salary of £26,000 and incremental increases as you gain competencies. Training and career development are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in a similar role and a customer-focused approach is desirable.
• Excellent telephone manner and flexible, people-oriented approach are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and provide insurance quotations.
• Process insurance transactions and perform general sales tasks.
• Maximise inbound sales opportunities and cross-sell to existing clients.
• Assist with renewal retention using proactive outreach and strong communication.
