NFU Mutual is recruiting an Insurance Adviser to join our Maldwyn Agency network, with offices in Newtown, Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool. You will handle enquiries, provide quotations, and complete insurance transactions with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will work Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with an initial starting salary of £26,000 and incremental increases as you gain competencies. Training and career development are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in a similar role and a customer-focused approach is desirable.
• Excellent telephone manner and flexible, people-oriented approach are required.

Responsabilités

About the role

As an Insurance Adviser within our small but growing team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, contributing to the smooth running of the office and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries, provide insurance quotations and undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a 'can-do' proactive attitude. You will also maximise inbound sales opportunities, cross selling to existing clients and assisting with renewal retention by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call. We have offices in Newtown, Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool and depending on the needs of the business you may be required to provide cover at any of our office locations.

About you

Qualified to Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent is essential. The chances are, you'll have already worked in a similar role, so will be no stranger to applying an excellent telephone manner and a flexible, people orientated approach to everything you do. Above all though, you'll relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused, ambitious team. The ability to work confidently with Microsoft 365 programmes and a flexibility as to location is essential.
