Job summary

Allcat Claims Service, LLC, Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Claims Adjuster to provide claims services across channels. You will investigate and evaluate claims, determine next steps, process payments, and communicate settlements to customers while collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, an Insurance Adjuster license (licensing exam within allowed attempts), and at least one year of customer service

  • At least 1 year of customer service or related experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Investigates, evaluates, and processes low to moderately complex insurance claims.
  • Reviews claim information for accuracy, completeness, and coverage applicability.
  • Processes claim payments and communicates claim decisions and settlements to customers.
  • Collaborates with internal partners and external stakeholders to facilitate timely claim resolution.
  • Maintains accurate claim documentation and records throughout the claims lifecycle.
  • Contributes to departmental goals, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Effectively utilizes technology, systems, and claim management tools to support workflow efficiency.
  • Supports workload surges, special projects, and catastrophe operations as needed, including overtime during catastrophe events.
  • Develops knowledge of various insurance products, policy contracts, coverages, claim handling procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Provides professional and empathetic customer service during potentially stressful claim situations.
  • Adheres to company standards for quality, compliance, attendance, and conduct.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain all licenses required to perform the essential functions.

Claims Adjuster
Description

Works under supervision to provide claims services to customers through multiple communication channels. Investigates and evaluates claims for completeness, determines appropriate next steps, processes payments, and communicates claim decisions and settlements to customers. Collaborates with internal resources to resolve claim‑related issues and escalates complex coverage, liability, or damage disputes as needed. Delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • This position requires an Insurance Adjuster License. Employees must successfully pass the required licensing examination within a designated number of attempts and become licensed in all applicable states. Allcat will provide study materials and a training environment to support licensing requirements.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service, customer contact, or related experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate in a Windows operating environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing processes, systems, and business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to handle routine responsibilities while remaining flexible and responsive to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Active Adjuster License.
  • Prior claims adjusting, investigation, or claims resolution experience.
  • Experience handling Property & Casualty insurance claims.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy interpretation, claims handling practices, and applicable state regulations.
  • Experience using claims management systems and industry‑related software.
  • Two or more years of customer service experience.
  • Prior military experience.

Employees attending training are expected to meet Allcat's established standards for performance, attendance, and conduct. Successful completion of all required training programs is mandatory.
