Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced account support professional to partner with Producers in managing client relationships and renewals. You will analyze exposures, prepare proposals, and support marketing efforts to secure new and renewal business for assigned accounts.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree-equivalent with six-plus years of experience and a valid insurance license, plus ongoing CE compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six or more years of related work experience.
• Valid Insurance License; must maintain CE requirements for license renewal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Responsibilities

• Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
• Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses renewal strategy with Producer.
• Analyzes and compares exposures and develops renewal or new business specs for marketing.
• Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness.
• Prepares proposals and presentations in coordination with Producer.
• Binds insurance coverage and issues binders or certificates.
• Reviews policies for accuracy and supports client accounting inquiries.
• Participates in the claims process as directed by management.
• Provides technical guidance to staff andNotifies brokers of client retention information.
• Meets with clients as needed; handles fee collection and balances within 90 days.
