Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Up to three years of client services experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of industry trends and governmental regulations.
• Ability to attend company, department and team meetings, including industry trainings.
• Ability to comply with all company policies and protect confidentiality of client and company information.
• Ability to organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel by automobile and aircraft.
• Ability to use office equipment and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
• Legally able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Receives and responds to routine client inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, issues, and resolutions.
• Prepares written correspondence and makes calls to underwriters as requested by senior staff.
• Reviews and processes policies and endorsements for accuracy of coverage and forms.
• Evaluates proposal policies and notifies senior staff of missing items or concerns.
• Assists in the renewal process by requesting enrollment and reports.
• Helps produce employee communications as requested by senior staff.
• Assists with financial reporting for renewals by gathering client details.
• Executes requested changes on policies and extends expiring binders as needed.
• Responds to Renewal Assistance Program requirements and updates the report when tasks are completed.
• Maintains carrier product information and data integrity in the system.
• Maintains client records and compiles numbers for experience modification worksheets.
• Issues and processes client invoicing and researches billing errors.
• Gains understanding of insurance brokerage and account servicing processes.
• Researches industry trends and governmental regulations.
