Job summary

The Account Manager at Burton Insurance Agency, Inc is a key member of the Sales Department. You'll spend your day providing insurance quotes, giving recommendations, following up, and closing sales with a high volume of prospects via phone, text, and email.

Qualifications

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Prior insurance or telephone sales experience preferred.
Must possess or be able to obtain necessary state insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
Quote, bind and issue insurance policies to consumers
Educate prospects on product features, benefits, pricing, and available options
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs
Follow up consistently with prospects and guide their purchasing decision
Demonstrate a positive, results-oriented approach while delivering an outstanding on-boarding experience
