Job summary

Clyburn Insurance is seeking an Account Manager to be the first point of contact for clients, handling policy questions, changes, billing, and claims support. This full-time, on-site role partners with producers to ensure a smooth client experience and strong relationships.

Responsibilities include processing policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and coordinating with carriers; a valid P&C license and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience required.
• Must have a valid, active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computers and agency management systems (AMS360/EPIC/Applied) a plus.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine desire to help people.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals for personal and/or commercial lines.
• Assist clients with billing questions and payment processing.
• Support the claims process by guiding clients through next steps and coordinating with carriers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
• Remarket existing accounts to competing carriers to ensure clients continue to receive competitive pricing and coverage.
• Cross-sell and identify opportunities to round out client accounts (e.g., life insurance) alongside producers.
• Remarket accounts as needed.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
