Townsend Insurance Group in Danvers, MA is seeking an Insurance Account Manager to maintain a portfolio of personal and commercial lines accounts with a strong focus on service and client relationships.

You will collaborate with producers to support new business, respond to inquiries, review coverages, and ensure accurate policy administration while meeting deadlines and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior insurance industry experience preferred.
• Active P&C license required.
• Proficient in Windows programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal and commercial lines accounts with strong client service.
• Respond to client inquiries and service requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Review exposures and policies to ensure appropriate coverage and process updates.
• Collaborate with producers to support new business, including quoting and onboarding.
• Deliver timely, accurate day-to-day service while prioritizing workload.
• Monitor carrier turnaround times and follow up on policies, endorsements, and claims.
• Conduct regular account reviews focused on retention and cross-selling.

Insurance Account Manager | $60,000 to $75,000 Salaried

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Danvers MA

Job Duties:

• This role is ideal for a service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong client relationships, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
• You’ll play a key role in delivering responsive day-to-day service, maintaining account accuracy, and supporting both client retention and growth.
• Manage a portfolio of personal and commercial lines accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships through responsive, high-quality service
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, service requests, and issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Review client exposures and existing policies to ensure appropriate coverage; process policy updates and changes as needed
• Collaborate with producers to support new business, including quoting, binding, and onboarding new accounts
• Deliver accurate, timely day-to-day service while effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and service standards
• Monitor carrier turnaround times and follow up on policies, endorsements, and claims to ensure efficient processing
• Conduct regular account reviews focused on retention, coverage accuracy, and identifying cross-selling opportunities
