Job summary

CAC, part of The Baldwin Group, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support middle market clients on renewals and new business, with emphasis on data collection, coordination with underwriters, and team collaboration.

You will manage renewal timelines, prepare client proposals, and ensure accurate policy detail in the agency system, while guiding a Junior Account Manager and coordinating with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience required.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ability to train other team members in duties & responsibilities of Junior Account Manager role.
• Manage assigned duties with independent decision-making authority.
• Proactive and can separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Service all aspects of the renewal process, new business preparation and ongoing needs for clients and prospects; coordinate with Producers, Account Executives, Claims and other team members.
• Request renewal data from clients and underwriters, compile materials, and manage renewal deadlines.
• Coordinate client submission materials for distribution to senior staff and underwriters.
• Schedule and participate in renewal strategy meetings with clients and insurers.
• Maintain policy details in the Agency Management System and monitor expiration dates.
• Direct and review work of junior team members and support other duties as assigned.
