Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman insulation installer to apply, repair, and insulate equipment, pipes, and ductwork, ensuring noise control and temperature maintenance.

The role requires reading blueprints, selecting materials, and performing installations with adherence to safety guidelines. A minimum 3 years of field experience is preferred, with opportunities for leadership paths within the crew.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of insulation materials and installation methods.
• Able to operate at heights and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and plan work activities.
• Select insulation material based on heat retention and location.
• Move materials and set up work sites.
• Install insulation and protective coverings.
• Ensure insulation is sealed and protected from weather or damage.
• Follow hazardous waste handling guidelines and safety procedures.
