Job summary

American National Insulation, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman insulation installer to apply best insulation practices, read blueprints, and install materials per project specs. The role involves local travel to job sites and working under CBAs, with safety as a priority.

You will lift up to 50 lbs, climb and move around job sites, and ensure vehicles are loaded with needed products and tools for the day. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid drivers’ license is required.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Responsibilities

• As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.
• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches.
• Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products.
• Climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand to perform daily work and ladder climbing, as needed.
• This includes confined spaces and small areas.

Compensation Range

$27.74 - $27.74 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
