Job summary

OJ Insulation, part of the IBP family, seeks experienced insulation installers to improve energy efficiency for residential and commercial projects. You will install various insulation types, measure and fit materials, operate lifts, and collaborate with the crew to meet deadlines while observing Cal OSHA safety guidelines.

The position requires physical work, a valid driver\'s license, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Qualifications

• Insulation installer experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs and work at heights up to 45 ft.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Able to work in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces) and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings.
• Load/log materials onto truck and note returned materials for each job order.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders and operate aerial lifts as needed.
• Measure and cut insulation to fit spaces accurately.
• Attach insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring and nailing.
• Operate equipment that injects loose fill or foamed insulation.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects within deadlines.
• Follow Cal OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain tools and truck; complete daily timecards.
• Possibly drive a company vehicle following DOT rules.
• Complete paperwork daily and return to production coordinator.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client questions professionally.
• Work with team to ensure quality workmanship.
