Job summary

Broken Drum Insulation Visalia, Inc. is hiring an insulation installer to professionally install fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings.

The role follows a consistent process to ensure high-quality results while maintaining safety standards across projects. Responsibilities include loading materials, erecting scaffolding, cutting insulation to size, and installing it with various methods.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience installing insulation is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding safely.
• Willing to be bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and log them for transport.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
• Cut insulation to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawl spaces.
• Install insulation using staples, glue, wiring, nails, or equipment.
• Possibly drive a company vehicle and follow DOT rules.
• Follow site safety rules and know MSDS locations in vehicle.
