Job summary

BDI Insulation, part of the Installed Building Products (IBP) family, is seeking an insulation installer to install fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings. You will follow a consistent process to ensure quality and safety across varied projects.

Responsibilities include loading materials, erecting scaffolding, cutting and fitting insulation, and potential driving duties with DOT compliance. Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Comfortable using standard hand tools.
• Able to work in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces).
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Set up scaffolding or ladders as needed.
• Cut insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or using equipment.
• Drive company vehicle if required and comply with DOT rules.
• Follow safety rules and know MSDS locations in vehicle.
