Job summary

Installed Building Products is seeking an insulation installer to professionally install fiberglass or rock wool batts in exterior walls and ceilings. You will work across project sites, adhering to safety standards and maintaining quality workmanship.

You will load materials, erect scaffolding, cut and fit insulation, and may drive a company vehicle. A valid license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and the willingness to work in tight spaces are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Installation experience is a plus.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces.
• Able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and log materials onto a truck.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders to the height needed.
• Cut the insulation materials to size and install them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces.
• Install insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed insulation.
• May drive a company vehicle and maintain tools/truck.
• Observe job site safety rules and MSDS packets location.
