Job summary

QXO is seeking a Fabricator to operate band saws and other equipment to custom fabricate foamglas, polyiso, styrofoam, and related insulation products. You will measure materials, maintain quality and cleanliness, and ensure daily production targets are met while following safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, can obtain respirator certification if required, and have prior experience in manufacturing or fabrication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Forklift certified (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate foamglas, polyiso, styrofoam, and many other types of specialized insulation.
• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are met daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
