Job summary

Distribution International is seeking a Fabricator to operate a band saw and other saws for custom fabrication of fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and related insulation materials. You will be part of a safety‑driven, fast‑paced manufacturing team committed to quality and efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to measure materials accurately, and adherence to all safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Experience/training in manufacturing, fabrication, or warehouse environment.
• Medically able to wear a respirator if required.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment, then we want you.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are meet daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).
• Forklift certified.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
