Carotek, a SunSource company, seeks an Outside Sales Engineer to drive the Instrumentation & Valve business across Georgia's Southwest Central region. Ideal candidate resides south of Atlanta and partners with engineers, plant personnel, and industrial customers to deliver process solutions and technical support.

You will train customers, review specs, and collaborate with Inside Sales and manufacturer partners to develop quotes and close business.

Qualifications

• Five years of outside sales or related industrial experience.
• Experience with industrial process equipment or instrumentation is preferred.
• Ability to read product specs and technical documents.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and grow sales within an established territory by expanding accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Serve as trusted advisor by providing technical guidance and application support for instrumentation and valve products.
• Call on engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, and plant leadership within industrial facilities.
• Deliver product training and informational sessions with engineering firms and customers.
• Review specifications and project documentation to support quotation development.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and manufacturer partners to deliver customer solutions.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, negotiate opportunities, and close business.
• Maintain relationships with principals, customers, and internal teams.
• Track territory activity and opportunities within CRM.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity.
