Applied Control is seeking an Instrumentation & Valve Asset Specialist to join the APM team. You will work directly with strategic customers on maintenance and reliability programs using Emerson Smart Valve & Measurement technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

You will leverage AMS Device Manager and Valvelink to diagnose, monitor, and support Emerson/Applied Control products, while training customers on best practices and sustaining data integrity for instrument records and SIS

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or instrumentation technologist diploma or journeyman designation from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years industry experience in an operating process facility is an asset.
• Experience with Emerson devices and AMS Device Manager/Valvelink software preferred.
• Experience with control valves, flow meters, and instrumentation preferred.
• Experience in a maintenance or reliability specialist role preferred.
• Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, enhance, and support the Customer’s maintenance and reliability work processes through the utilization of Emerson technologies.
• Provide an expert-level utilization of Emerson’s AMS Device Manager Suite, including diagnostics and predictive alert capabilities.
• Provide direct reliability and technical support for Emerson/Applied Control products at both an engineering and maintenance level.
• Deliver and quantify Customer value
• Offer practical training and mentorship on how to use Emerson’s technologies effectively.
• Create, enhance, and maintain the integrity of instrument data, including diagnostic records, maintenance logs, datasheets, and SIS instrument validation records.
• Inventory optimization and management
• Take part in the development, optimization, and execution of the scope for instrument and valve turnarounds.
