John Deere Dubuque seeks an Instrumentation & Electronic Test Technician to develop, install, maintain, and operate instrumentation and test equipment in laboratories and vehicles. You will perform tests to obtain engineering data to support design and evaluation of prototypes, while prioritizing safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include setting up fixtures, conducting vibration, fatigue, and performance tests, diagnosing malfunctions, and calibrating instruments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and additional credentials or experience in manufacturing.
• Experience setting up and maintaining electronic instrumentation and test equipment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks for extended shifts and lift as required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Aufgaben

• Develop, install, maintain, and operate instrumentation in test labs and vehicles.
• Conduct tests to obtain engineering data for evaluation and design.
• Set up test fixtures and related controls and instrumentation.
• Operate equipment for vibration, fatigue, stress, and performance tests.
• Diagnose malfunctions and calibrate/testing data; upkeep equipment inventory.
• Work with minimal supervision and support team members.
