Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Vancouver, WA seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to troubleshoot, install, and maintain plant instrumentation, PLCs, and MCC panels at our Northwest Packing plant. The role requires hands-on experience with drive systems, sensors, and process controls.

Responsibilities include calibrating transmitters, wiring, and ladder logic programming, with a focus on safe electrical practices and reliability during the fresh pack season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years’ commercial or industrial instrumentation experience.
• Ability to calibrate transmitters and control loops using calibration equipment and math.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended schedule and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and maintain plant instrumentation and controls.
• Set up instrumentation, electrical motors, PLC, MCC panels, and ladder logic programming.
• Interpret PLC control logic and calibrate process instrumentation.
