Job summary

Calbee North America is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Boardman, Oregon. You will monitor and maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot PLCs and related equipment, and support production with data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities include system monitoring, periodic maintenance, staff training on control systems, and adherence to PSM and safety standards. A valid Oregon electrical license and Level 2 status are required.

Qualifications

Must possess at least Level 2 Maintenance status.
Strong mechanical aptitude and solid work ethic.
Must read and write in English and communicate clearly.
Must have basic math skills and general computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, CMMS).
No safety or LOTO violations within the previous year.
Must hold a valid Oregon electrical license (journeyman or LME).

Responsibilities

System Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor electrical systems and processes to ensure efficient operation.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform regular testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and control systems and related equipment (PLCs, VFDs, starters, overloads, etc.).
Data analysis & reporting: Analyze data from electrical and control systems to create performance reports and recommend improvements.
Training & Support: Provide training and support for staff on control systems operation and required trainings.
Compliance & safety: Attend required training sessions including PLC, refrigeration, packaging and processing equipment, PSM, SOP/109, and annual compliance programs.
