Qualifications

• 5+ years PLC/HMI design and programming experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with PLC programming across multiple platforms and control systems.
• On-site commissioning and start-up experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and systemic problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and optimize PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions for oil & gas projects.
• Lead on-site commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring smooth handover.
• Create and maintain thorough technical documentation and commissioning records.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years PLC/HMI design and programming experience in the oil and gas industry
• Experience with PLC programming (Wonderware, Rockwell Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Moscad, Ace Motorola Controllers, GE iFix)
• HMI programming experience (Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell Factory Talk SE, Factory Link, Citect, Telvent, etc.)
• On-site commissioning and start-up experience
• Understanding of industrial environments, engineering, and production processes
• PLC/HMI troubleshooting and debugging experience
• Excellent English communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract
• Ability to travel and work away from home
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Ability to work individually and in teams
• High level of attention to detail
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required
