Native Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking an Automation Programmer to design, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial automation and control systems for Oil & Gas operations. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, electrical, instrumentation, and field personnel to deliver safe, reliable control solutions.

The role involves programming PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, ABB, Emerson, Red Lion, Beijer, and Ignition, and interpreting

• Maintain accurate programming documentation, backups, configuration files, drawings, and system records.
• Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA development, instrumentation, and industrial communications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), system validation troubleshooting, and functional testing of new control system designs. Commission PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems in the field.

About Us

We are an automation and electrical integrator providing services to the oil and gas, industrial, and related industries. Our expertise covers virtually all facets of electrical contracting for the upstream oil and gas industries, including specialty expertise in new well sites and production facility electrification.

Job Summary

The Automation Programmer is responsible for the programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, integration, and optimization of industrial automation and control systems used in Oil & Gas operations. This position will work closely with engineering, operations, electrical, instrumentation, and field personnel to develop reliable and safe control solutions that meet customer and project requirements.

Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA and industrial control system applications. Program and integrate control systems using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, ABB, Emerson, Red Lion, Beijer, Ignition.

Interpret Cause & Effect matrices, Control Narratives, P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation documentation to develop control logic and system functionality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Work on your feet for extended time periods. Work in a vehicle at a computer for extended time periods.
