Job summary

Rain Carbon Inc. is seeking a maintenance/Instrumentation Technician to maintain instrumentation and electrical performance for plant equipment, performing repairs, installations, and inspections.

You will support improvements and ensure reliable production with ISO compliance. Responsibilities include using test equipment daily, repairing PLCs, calibrating sensors, and collaborating with maintenance personnel to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

  • Two years of related training or experience, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics.
  • Ability to write routine reports and present information to small groups.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair plant equipment using test instruments daily.
  • Repair, troubleshoot, and install components of medium and low voltage distribution systems.
  • Repair and install PLC components (Allen-Bradley), control wiring, and HMI hardware.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation, motors, and control equipment.
  • Calibrate process instrumentation (pressure, temp, level) for ISO-compliant operation.
  • Operate mobile equipment as needed for instrumentation work.
  • Report problems or safety issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of plant processes.
