Job summary

Grifols is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will calibrate and repair instrument standards, troubleshoot systems, and document work in CMMS while following cGMP and safety guidelines.

This role involves rotating 12-hour shifts, heavy lifting, and working with analytical devices, ensuring compliance with SOPs and P&IDs, and contributing to equipment qualifications and startup activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 2 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical trades, or utility equipment operation; an Associate’s degree can substitute.
• Associates degree in a relevant technical field with 2 years related experience; combined education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate instrument standards and control elements including electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, temperature, pressure, level, flow, weight and weighing systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on instrument standards and control elements.
• Use CMMS to document work activity.
• Provide detailed documentation of calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Issue/complete job hazard analysis and safe work permits.
• Adhere to cGMP, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Follow SOPs, P&ID diagrams, job plans and equipment manuals.
• Maintain training curriculum requirements.
• Complete required Instrumentation Qualifications.
• Assist with modification, installation and startup of instrument standards.
