Job summary

Grifols, S.A is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to perform routine calibration and repair of plant instrument standards. The role involves calibrating diverse instrument standards, troubleshooting issues, and documenting all activities in the CMMS system.

Candidates should have a technical background with related experience and be able to follow cGMP, safety protocols, and SOPs while supporting installation, startup, and qualification activities for instrument standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 2 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical trades, or utility equipment operation.
Associates degree in a relevant technical field may substitute for the experience.
4–6 years relevant experience may be considered in place of the stated requirements.

Responsibilities

Calibrate instrument standards and control elements across electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, temperature, pressure, level, flow, weight, weighing systems, analytical devices, and NIST standards.
Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on instrument standards and control elements.
Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work activity.
Provide detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
Adhere to cGMP, safety and environmental requirements; follow SOPs and P&ID drawings to perform work; maintain training curriculum requirements.
