Job summary

The Doe Run Company is hiring a Chemical Lab Technician at its Quentin J Schmidt Lab in Viburnum, MO to prepare and process laboratory samples for quality data results supporting production, exploration, R&D, and environmental projects.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of lab equipment experience; 3 months with an associate degree may suffice. Strong data skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience using lab equipment, or 3 months with an associate degree.
Proficient in MS Office and lab data systems.
Strong data integrity and documentation skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process samples for quality data results across production, exploration, R&D, and environmental streams.
Record and maintain analytical data and assay results per lab standards.
Monitor and maintain test equipment and instruments; perform routine maintenance.
Complete sample prep duties as needed.
Follow EHS policies and ensure safe, compliant operations.
