Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking an Instrumentation Technician in Painesville Township, OH. The role focuses on hands‑on support to maintain safe, reliable plant performance and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

You will install and calibrate instrumentation, perform loop checks, and document activities in SAP, while adhering to safety and environmental policies. This is an on‑site, full‑time position with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
On‑the‑job training with external coursework aiming for certification/degree.
Teamwork and strong organizational skills are essential.
Solid computer skills for electronic documentation.
Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with safety focus.
Ability to use instrumentation test equipment, hand and power tools.
Ability to read and follow verbal/written instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and pneumatic/electrical devices on site.
Calibrate, test, adjust, and document instrumentation and ISO equipment.
Perform loop checks and update drawings/documentation as needed.
Analyze root causes of equipment/process issues and improve job plans.
Adhere to EH&S policies and identify hazards.
Complete documentation including time sheets and SAP entries on time.
Operate tools and equipment safely, including forklifts when required.
Communicate status and priorities with Work Coordinator and supervision.
