Job summary

IKO Industries is seeking an Electrician to maximize plant performance through troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment. The role requires adherence to safety rules, strong PLC and instrumentation knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priority tasks.

You will support a 24-hour call-out, shift, and weekend work as needed. The ideal candidate has five or more years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in Allen Bradley Drives, PLCs,

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years electrical maintenance experience in a plant setting.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs, and Programming.
  • Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI.
  • Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and fuse disconnects.
  • Manage assigned work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
  • Work in a team environment with other maintenance personnel.
  • Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command.
  • Work with computers, line drives, and PLCs.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules.
  • Read and use technical manuals and schematics.
  • Organize work area, tools, and parts.
  • Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively with multiple jobs and priorities.
  • Be available for 24-hour call-out; shift and weekend work.
  • Stand for long periods and climb stairs; work in high areas.

Compensation

$34.68 - $43.16 an hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI
  • Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
  • Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
