Job summary

IKO Industries seeks an experienced Electrician to maximize plant performance through proactive electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment while upholding safety rules and IKO values. You will work on distribution and control systems, manage work orders, and collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure optimal uptime.

Qualifications

  • The position is subject to 24-hour call-out; able to do shift and weekend work.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and work in high-up areas.
  • Knowledge of Safety Systems and their application/use.
  • Minimum of five years of electrical maintenance experience in a plant setting.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting using remote HMI.
  • Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software.
  • Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and fuse disconnects.
  • Manage assigned work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
  • Work in a team player environment with other maintenance personnel.

  • Work with computers, line drives, and PLCs.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules.
  • Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics.
