Job summary

IKO Industries is looking for an Electrician to maximize plant performance through troubleshooting, repair, and upgrading of electrical equipment. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot various electrical systems while working in a team environment.

Qualified candidates should have at least five years of maintenance experience, an Associate's Degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, and knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives and PLCs. The position offers competitive compensation starting at $31.32 per hour.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits.
  • Must be able to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects.
  • Manage assigned work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
  • Work in a team setting with other maintenance personnel.
  • Work with computers, line drive, and PLCs.
  • Run conduit and possess knowledge of relevant codes.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules, including Lock, Tag, and Verify.
  • Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics.
  • Organize work area, tools and parts.
  • Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities.
  • The position is subject to 24‑hour call out; shift and weekend work.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and work high up.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting.
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or Licensed Electrician.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and Programming.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits.
  • Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters.
  • Must be able to work with computer based maintenance software.
  • Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to work at heights.
Compensation

Starting at: $31.32 per hour.
