Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electronics on similar equipment, a HS diploma or GED, and may have 2-year technical training. Overtime and emergency response are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years’ electronics experience on equipment similar to facility gear.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair of Authority equipment.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instruments and electronic devices (flow meters, PLCs, VFDs, gauges, sensors).
• Analyze instrument and control systems to verify proper operation.
• Ensure flow-meter accuracy for billing; generate flow data reports weekly/monthly/yearly.
• Evaluate calibration equipment and use test gear (VOMs, oscilloscopes, ammeters).
• Program Wonderware HMI software and PLCs; develop ladder logic diagrams.
• Prepare control drawings and wiring diagrams for upgrades.
• Maintain safety per National Electrical Code; follow lockout/tag-out.
• Possibly assist environmental mission and site events.
