bioMérieux seeks an on-site Instrument Service Technician to manage installation, maintenance, and repair of instruments at the St. Louis site. You will oversee calibration and preventative maintenance programs for the IRC, ensuring accurate records and efficient service execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in service or refurbishment and a tech/engineering background. Strong MS Office proficiency and solid communication skills are required. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in service or refurbishment activities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instruments at the St. Louis site.
• Diagnose and repair instrument malfunctions to board or subassembly level.
• Manage calibrated items and preventative maintenance items for the IRC department.
• Maintain accurate records of activity and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks.
• Control spare parts inventory to meet repair and financial objectives.
• Follow quality procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
