Job summary

bioMerieux Inc. in St. Louis, MO, seeks an experienced service technician to manage on-site installation, maintenance and repair of the instrument base at the St.

Louis site. You will oversee calibration and preventative maintenance programs for the IRC and maintain accurate activity records. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years in service/refurbishment, with knowledge of calibration systems and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in service or refurbishment activities.
• Knowledge of calibration systems and preventative maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, upgrades, performs preventative maintenance, and handles service requests for instruments at the St. Louis site.
• Diagnoses and repairs instrument malfunctions to board or subassembly level and ensures optimal performance.
• Manages calibrated items and Preventative Maintenance items for the IRC department.
• Maintains accurate records of activity and completes scheduled tasks on time.
• Maintains spare parts inventory aligned with repair and financial objectives.
• Complies with quality procedures and standards; performs other duties as assigned.
