Job summary

Aerodyn is seeking an Instrumentation Lab Technician in Indianapolis, IN to apply, check, and troubleshoot sensors on gasturbine and similar hardware. You will install strain gauges, thermocouples, and instrumentation, build wire harnesses, and support customers in lab and on site. Expect 25-50% travel.

Responsibilities include wiring, schematics interpretation, and maintaining lab equipment. This is a first shift role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in engine sensor application and troubleshooting.
• Experience with resistance and laser welders; rake/probe assembly knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Apply and check instrumentation using portable spot-welding and related techniques.
• Install strain gauges and instrumentation leads on customer hardware.
• Build and check wire and cable harnesses for testing.
• Travel to customer sites to support instrumentation work.
