Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering, LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Instrumentation Project Engineer to lead and execute manufacturing-oriented instrumentation projects. You will manage pre-manufacturing schedules, apply technical knowledge, and coordinate with customers to ensure satisfaction and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning solutions for aerothermal probes, developing quotes and BOMs, and overseeing manufacturing flow.

Qualifications

Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
Experience with instrumentation, rake/probes, sensors, and aerospace hardware is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Understand project requests and plan high level solutions for aerothermal instrumentation projects.
Prepare engineering drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
Develop quotes, manage BOMs, and coordinate supplier quotes.
Maintain BOMs and monitor project scope, schedule, and cost.
Communicate with customers on schedule, technical issues, and changes.
Establish and present weekly project reports to management and customers.
