Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking an Instrumentation Lab Technician to apply, check, and troubleshoot sensors on gas turbine and related hardware. You will install strain gauges, thermocouples, and instrumentation leads, build wire and cable harnesses, and support customers both in our lab and at client sites. Expect 25–50% travel.

The role requires hands-on experience with sensors, schematics reading, and tool use. A shift is available (1st shift) and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Instrumentation knowledge including sensors (pressure, thermocouple, strain gauge, accelerometers).
• 3-5 years’ experience in engine sensor application and troubleshooting preferred.
• MET/EET/A&P certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply and check instrumentation using portable spot-welding and related techniques.
• Install strain gauges and instrumentation leads on customer-supplied hardware.
• Build and check wire and cable harnesses for testing.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Travel to customer sites to support instrumentation work.
