Job summary

Worley Group, Inc in Baton Rouge seeks an Instrumentation Engineer Level II to deliver instrumentation and controls support for capital and sustaining projects, applying established engineering principles and client standards. You will coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams to develop design packages, review P&IDs, and prepare instrument specifications, data sheets and MTOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or instrumentation engineering.
• 2–5 years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience.
• Experience with instrument specifications, requisitions, P&ID reviews, and field verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain instrument indexes, datasheets, specifications, and requisition packages.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, process data sheets, mechanical drawings, and piping specifications.
• Prepare instrumentation design deliverables including instrument specifications, installation details, cable schedules, and MTOs.
• Perform field investigations and site visits to verify existing installations and gather design information.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Project teams to develop integrated engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical bid evaluations and support equipment procurement.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, industry codes and Worley engineering procedures.
• Support project execution while meeting budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
