Job summary

Brindley Engineering in Illinois seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to assist in generating instrumentation project deliverables under supervision of a senior engineer. You will participate in site surveys and develop as-built or as-found documentation.

Responsibilities include producing instrument data sheets, loop drawings, I/O lists and P&IDs, and performing client document searches. The role offers professional development in industry standards and potential certification opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: BSc in Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 1–3+ years.
• Licensure: E.I.T. preferred.
• Technical skills: MS Office, Adobe, Windows, PC hardware.
• Management: no management experience required.
• Other skills: strong organizational, written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrument site surveys and walkdowns.
• Develop and prepare as-built or as-found instrumentation documentation.
• Perform client instrument documentation searches to find required project documents.
• Assist with generating instrument data, sheets, loop drawings, installation details, instrument lists, and P&ID drawings.
