Job summary
Brindley Engineering Corporation is seeking an instrumentation engineer to help generate instrumentation deliverables under supervision of a senior engineer. The role includes performing site surveys of existing instrumentation and updating drawings and data sheets. Minimum qualifications include a BSc in Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering and 1–3+ years of experience; E.I.T. preferred. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
BSc in Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
1–3+ years of instrument engineering experience.
E.I.T. licensure preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Windows; basic PC hardware knowledge.
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Assist with instrument site surveys and walkdowns.
Develop and prepare as-built or as-found instrumentation documentation.
Perform client instrument documentation searches to find required project documents.
Assist with generating instrumentation data, sheets, loop drawings, installation details, instrument lists, DCS/PLC I/O lists and P&IDs.
