Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to troubleshoot, install, and maintain plant control systems at the Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This role covers PLCs, MCC panels, ladder logic programming, and instrumentation, with responsibilities including safe work practices and clear communication of issues.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of instrumentation experience, with willingness to work extended

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years’ commercial or industrial instrumentation experience.
Ability to calibrate transmitters and control loops with calibration equipment.
Pass pre-employment drug test and work extended schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
Install and maintain PLCs, MCC panels, and drive systems; interpret ladder logic.
Install electrical conduit, wiring, and terminations.
Communicate problems and solutions to resolve electrical issues.
