Job summary

Luminant Power LLC is seeking a Maintenance technician to perform instrumentation, electrical, and preventive maintenance at the Texas plant. The role focuses on ensuring proper functioning of plant equipment and safe, reliable operation under site management guidance.

Responsibilities include calibration, troubleshooting of DCS/PLC/HMI, control valve work, and coordination with operations and engineering to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED equivalent required.
• One year as I&C or two years related work experience required.
• Experience with college programs and/or certifications applicable to the above skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, calibrate, test, and maintain transmitters, switches, gauges, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electronic, and digital instrumentation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, and HMI systems.
• Test and maintain control valves, positioners, actuators, and instrumentation.
• Verify instrument loops, control logic, alarms, interlocks, and shutdown systems.
• Maintain boiler, turbine, combustion, and burner management controls.
• Review calibration records and control drawings.
