Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to maintain electrical control devices across the plant, read and interpret electrical drawings, and calibrate equipment. The role includes on-call duties and day shift responsibilities.

Candidates should have at least 6 years of instrumentation & controls experience, be adept at troubleshooting circuits (prefer Allen-Bradley), and understand 4-20mA systems.

Qualifications

• 6 years of work experience in instrumentation & controls is required.
• Experience troubleshooting systems and circuits, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of 4–20mA systems.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings to rebuild, install and calibrate equipment.
• Troubleshoot controls and electrical systems to ensure proper plant operation.
• Maintain safety and environmental procedures.
