Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician responsible for maintaining all electrical control devices within the plant on day shift and on-call. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 years of work experience in instrumentation & controls.
• Experience troubleshooting systems and circuits, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of 4-20mA systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings to rebuild, install and calibrate equipment.
• Troubleshoot controls and electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Install and program electrical devices including VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation.
• Load programming and draw Ladder Logic diagrams to match specifications.
• Assist procurement of Electrical equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
