Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in control/automation, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and industrial experience; travel and subcontractor supervision may be involved.

Qualifications

• 5 years proven experience in control and automation field.
• Experience in industrial environments is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Rockwell Automation PLC/SCADA experience required.
• Rockwell PlantPax System experience required.
• Team-based collaboration and clear communication are essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make timely judgments.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical hardware or software and wire devices per codes.
• Electrical start-ups of new or modified equipment; generate/modify operating instructions.
• Assist in layout design and troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Program and install PLCs; draft ladder logic diagrams to match control.
• Procure and supervise subcontractors for electrical items (conduit etc).
• Develop and maintain updated electrical schematics and drawings.
• Maintain support for current control technology and service issues.
• Develop and maintain archive system for control programming by plant.
• All other duties as assigned.
