AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Bothell, WA. You will learn to analyze P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams, review drawings for accuracy, and maintain data in engineering databases.

Under mentorship, you will size instruments, select control valves, and design process control logic. Ideal candidates are pursuing chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering degrees (60 hours completed) from ABET-accredited programs and

• 60 hours toward an ABET-accredited chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering degree.
• No experience required for students in related degree programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to interpret and analyze engineering drawings: P&IDs, schematics, loop diagrams.
• Assist in reviewing engineering drawings for accuracy.
• Maintain and update data in engineering databases/software tools.
