Job summary

Orange County Sanitation District seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead design and project management for wastewater facilities. You will develop scopes, review consultants’ designs, and ensure compliance with OC San standards.

The position covers electrical, instrumentation, and controls work, including DCS/PLC design, I&C specifications, and coordination with operations during construction and startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience.
• Possession of a valid P.E. license in California and a valid CA Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage engineering projects for OC San wastewater facilities and systems.
• Review submittals, design drawings, and specifications; coordinate with operations, maintenance, and consultants.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California

California Class C Driver’s License
