Job summary

Crusoe seeks an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer II to help build the control system shipped inside every module of our modular data center platform. The role supports the Denver area facility and collaborates with manufacturing teams to ensure reliable system performance.

You will apply 2–4 years of instrumentation and controls experience, work with Rockwell/AB Studio 5000 and ControlLogix/CompactLogix hardware, and gain hands-on Ignition SCADA exposure while performing rigorous testing and

Job description

As an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer II supporting Crusoe's modular data center platform, you will help build the control system that ships inside every module we manufacture.

Requirements
  • Instrumentation & Controls Foundation: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in industrial instrumentation and controls, including exposure to point list development, control system drawings, and field instrumentation.
  • PLC Proficiency: Working familiarity with Rockwell and Allen-Bradley platforms, including Studio 5000 and ControlLogix or CompactLogix hardware.
  • SCADA Exposure: Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA or a comparable platform, including tag configuration, screen navigation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Testing and Verification Discipline: Demonstrated ability to execute structured test procedures, document results accurately, and identify discrepancies before they propagate into downstream deliverables.
  • Field and Factory Readiness: Comfort working in active manufacturing and construction environments, including field walks, panel inspections, and instrument verification alongside technicians and trades.
  • Collaborative Judgment: A track record of applying established engineering standards independently while escalating technical ambiguity to more experienced engineers early and clearly.
  • Mandatory Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
