Job summary

Raise is seeking a contract Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Spring, TX to provide day-to-day instrumentation and controls technical support, troubleshooting, and project management within a defined operating area. The role reports to the client through Raise and requires adapting to field conditions with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a related role.
• Experience with Instrumentation & Controls, PLC programming.
• Ability to read ladder logic.
• Understanding of field/industrial settings and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage field execution and financial stewardship of electrical, instrumentation, and controls upgrades within a defined area.
• Oversee projects up to $2M in appropriation across design, procurement and field execution.
• Provide day-to-day electrical, power, instrumentation, and controls support and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize asset utilization and risk management.
• Travel and overnight stays may be required; 20%–50% field time.
